Corn Bread From Scratch 
Kosher // Dairy





A creamy and moist homemade corn bread.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup of Margarine 
2/3 cup of White Sugar
2 Eggs 
1 cup of Buttermilk 
1/2 tsp. of Baking Soda 
1/2 tsp. of Salt 
1 cup of Corn Meal 
1 cup of Flour  






Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.


1) Melt 1/2 cup margarine in large skillet at medium heat. 


2) When melted remove from heat, add in 2/3 cup white sugar, stir in 2 eggs and beat until well blended.


3) Combine 1 cup buttermilk and 1/2 tsp of baking soda and stir into mixture.


4) Stir in 1 cup corn meal, 1 cup flour, and 1 tsp salt until only a few lumps remain. 




5) Pour batter into prepared pan. 


6) Bake in preheated oven for 30-40 minutes.
